The Press

About S2 Press

S2 Press began as a family undertaking: children's stories written for nieces at Christmas, a mother's wartime memoir that deserved better than a desk drawer, and two remarkable books by a great-grandmother that had been out of print for the better part of a century.

Bringing those books into the world — restoring old texts, drawing and preparing illustrations, building print files, and navigating CafePress, Lulu, CreateSpace, and Kindle publishing — turned into a body of practical experience that S2 Press now offers to other authors as a book shepherd service.

The press is run by Paul D. Pruitt, a retired IT professional, author, illustrator, and independent researcher. Bound copies of S2 Press titles are available through our Lulu and CafePress stores, and several titles are offered as free PDFs at socrtwo.info.
